Cancellation Policy

At Westchester Integrative Psychiatry (WIP), we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To ensure that we can provide timely care to all our patients, we have established the following cancellation policy:

– Notice Requirement: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient in need.

– Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without any notice, will incur a fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled session. Please note that insurance companies typically do not reimburse for missed appointments; therefore, this fee will be the patient’s responsibility.

– Exceptions: We recognize that emergencies and unforeseen events can occur. In such cases, please contact our office as soon as possible to discuss the situation. We may offer a one-time courtesy waiver of the cancellation fee within a six-month period, depending on the circumstances.

By adhering to this policy, we aim to maintain the highest standard of care and availability for all our patients.

– We offer superbills upon request for out-of-network reimbursement.
– A deposit may be required for extended consultations or concierge enrollment.
– Fees are subject to change with advance notice.
